About PupperGuide
PupperGuide exists because most puppy training advice online is either a thinly disguised course pitch or a local business landing page pretending to be a blog. We wanted something different: clear, step-by-step guides you can actually follow, written to answer the question you searched for — nothing more, nothing less.
Every guide is researched and written by PupperGuide's editorial team from published veterinary and certified-behaviour sources, which are cited inline so you can check them. Selected guides covering infectious disease, hygiene and vaccination have additionally been reviewed by a qualified veterinarian — those guides name him in the byline and link to his profile. Guides without that byline have not been vet-reviewed.
We're not selling a training course or a certification. If we recommend a product, it's because we'd genuinely use it — and we say so plainly in our affiliate disclosure.
Who's accountable for this site
Abdul Basit
Editor, PupperGuide
I run and edit PupperGuide. I started it because most puppy-training advice online is either a disguised course pitch or a business landing page dressed as a blog — and almost none of it cites where the advice came from.
What I actually do here. I research and write every guide on this site, working from primary sources: veterinary bodies including AAHA, WSAVA, the AVMA and the CDC, and published work from certified behaviour professionals. Every safety-relevant claim on this site traces back to one of those, and I link them so you can check me.
How health content is handled. Where a topic touches health, medicine, or disease risk, articles are reviewed by a qualified veterinarian before publication. Those articles carry his name in the byline and link to his profile. Articles without that byline have not been vet-reviewed, and I don't imply otherwise.
What I won't do. No invented test results, no fabricated personal stories, no product recommendations I wouldn't stand behind, and no advice that isn't traceable to a real source.
